Kota doria which comes from small towns of Rajasthan, U.P. and some smaller towns of India, is made up of cotton and silk yarn mixed in different combinations and woven in such a way that it produces square patterns in the fabric. Initially it was popular for making Sarees but now all kinds of home furnishings like curtains, lamp shades and a wide variety of clothing range like skirts, salwar suits, shirts can be made from this fabric.
