What is Bonded Fabric

  • Bonded fabric is non- woven material that is produced by fibers joined together.
  • This material is manufactured by blending one textile with other textile yarn like rubber, plastic etc. 
  • Adhesively bonding fiber webs are used to join the fibers or blending one fabric with another.
  • Bonded fabrics are majorly used in the industrial world like automotive industry, packaging etc. for various reasons. 
  • This fabric comes in various forms like powder, resin and even paste to fulfill different objectives.

History of Bonded Fabric 

  • Simple one-laid bonded fabric was first produced in 1952 in England,
  • Later, in 1953 mesh or cross laid material was founded,
  • Recently, fabric also has gone through some experiments and developments containing bonded knit fabric, wool and rubber.

Heat resistant 

Bonded fabric passess heat very slowly which makes it heat resistant.

Absorbent 

Due to their thick layer, bonded fabric is great absorbent. 

Non- woven

Bonded fabric produced using special technique and kind of non-woven textile.

Wet wipes, duster, food wraps, bedding, table cloth etc. 

Care Instruction 

  • To wash the bonded furnishing fabric, firsty remove all the dust though using soft brush,
  • To wash always use lukewarm water and clean cloth to wash the bonded fabric,
  • To clean the stain, use a soft and gentle cleaner. Remember never use harsh cleaners.
  • Remove the access conditioner before drying it.
