What is Eco Flower Dyeing?

It is a natural dyeing technique done by flowers petals, leaves, herbs, and more. Through this method, the dyed fabric gets both the color and imprints of the flower or any other material used. Spread the colors of flowers in your daily life.

 






Material Required

  • Any dried or fresh flower petals & leaves 
    (Roses, hibiscus, lotus, bougainvillea, marigold, Dahlia, lily)
  • Water spray bottle containers (Extra water)
  • Induction or Gas stove 
  • Pan (Any other utensil)
  • Thread or string
  • Rough cloth & Scissors 
  • Vinegar

Process to be done before Workshop

Pre soak the fabric in water container by adding one table spoon vinegar to it for half an hour to 45 mins before the workshop

Any pattern of fabric can be used (white base)

Tutor must be using silk or cotton
Silk & Cotton (Any form of grams or quality work)

About the Tutor

Shreyeshi Agarwal is a Jaipur-based artist who has been curating art for the last six years. She holds a Diploma & a Master's Degree in Drawing & Painting and has received training under industry stalwarts.

Her works stem from various art forms i.e. Wall Mural & Painting in different mediums (Fabric, Portrait, Canvas, Cake) and other mediums such as water, oil, and acrylic.

She is passionate about exploring new forms of art and teaching known mediums of art while believing in learning every single day.
