A Brief Overview of Digital Printing Process
When you choose us as your digital print fabric suppliers, you get everything from soft, breathable and versatile fabrics to luxurious fabrics with an extensive range of digital prints. With unmatched accuracy, we pick sustainable and high-quality digital printing techniques.
We have a streamlined digital printing process that helps us to get flawless and beautiful prints that are kind to the environment. We have a structured 3-tiered approach to digital printing, and this includes-
Pre-Production
This stage includes CAD making and sending it to customer for approval. Besides, once we get the required color, we also send the strikeoff to the customer for their approval in the next stage.
Production
The production process includes RFD. RFD in digital printing stands for "Ready for Dyeing." It refers to fabric that has been pre-treated and prepared for the dyeing process, ensuring even color absorption and vibrant results. This step is crucial for removing impurities and applying special coating, so the fabric is ready for digital printing production.
Post Production
Digital printing involves transferring designs onto fabric using different methods. The post-production phase includes two types of printing. In reactive printing, designs are printed, then fixed with steam, followed by washing, softening, and folding. In sublimation printing, heat transfers the design onto the fabric, also requiring washing, softening, and folding for final processing.

Digital Printing Process on Fabric:
We follow a thoroughly streamlined process for digital printing to bring your designs to life. How? Well, here’s our three-step approach to creating digital print fabric:
Pre-Production
The journey of creating your fabric masterpiece starts with careful planning and preparation. In the pre-production phase, you share your vision with us. Whether you have a complete design or just an idea, our team of experts can work closely with you to finalize the design details. The pattern, color, and design adjustments are also discussed to ensure your fabric is exactly what you envisioned. Then you select the fabric on which you want the digital printing to be done, and voila! We will be ready for the production phase.
Production
This is where the actual magic happens. Using top-of-the-line digital printers, we transfer your designs onto the chosen fabric. The ink is applied directly to the fabric’s surface, so the intricate details and rich colors are evident. In addition, each piece of printed fabric undergoes rigorous quality checks, so every yard meets our high-quality standards. Also, during the initial production phase, we offer you custom swatches, so you can ensure the fabric meets your vision before we ship it in bulk.
Post-Production
The final steps are all about ensuring your printed fabric looks and feels perfect:
- Fixation: To make sure the print is durable and vibrant, the fabric undergoes a fixation process. This step involves heating the fabric to set the ink, ensuring the colors remain bright and the print lasts through washes and wear.
- Finishing: Depending on the fabric and its intended use, we may apply additional finishing processes, and this could include treatments to enhance softness, improve drape, or add a protective coating.
- Inspection and Packaging: Before your fabric leaves our facility, it goes through a final inspection. We ensure that the print quality is flawless and that the fabric meets all your specifications. The fabric is then carefully packaged to prevent any damage during transit.
