As one of the "Big Four" in the fashion industry, Milan Fashion Week is a massive event that showcases a wide range of fashion trends over all four seasons.

This location hosted the first Fashion Week back in 1958, and it has since welcomed shows by illustrious designers like Prada, Ji Wenbo, and Armani. Milan Fashion Week is considered to be one of the "Big Four," with New York, London, and Paris. These brands mostly showcase outfits curated from wool, cashmere, cotton drill, silk, and leather fabrics.

Paris Fashion Week

To imagine the fashion industry without Paris is almost impossible. Since Paris has done more for the fashion industry than any other city, it is rightfully considered one of the "Big Four" and is unrivaled in every respect.

In 1973, the French government initiated Paris Fashion Week as a means of raising funds for the restoration of Versailles Palace. The first event was a smashing success, drawing participation from such legendary designers as Yves Saint Laurent.
