Kota Doria is a unique fabric with a blend of cotton and silk fibers in a square check pattern. The fibers of silk offer shine, whereas cotton offers strength to the fabric. The name of the fabric is derived from the place where it originated, Kota, Rajasthan.

The checkered pattern on the fabric is one of the distinguishing features known as "Khat". Kota Doria is a breezy and lightweight fabric with a fine weaving pattern, most commonly used for sarees, lehengas, suits, and so on.

The fabric with a touch of Rajasthani royalty has been favored elegantly as it portrays grace and style. Earlier, the sarees made from this fabric were mostly in hues of white and beige. However, due to modernization in technology, the fabric comes in different colors and embellishments. Initially, the fabric was created with only cotton fibers, but now silk is also used in the weaving of the fabric, making it more stylish.

The collection of Fabriclore’s Kota Doria showcases a colorful dress with the playfulness of tie-dye, featuring ethereal foil prints in various patterns and embellishments. With its sheer nature, the fabric is a perfect option for designing suits, skirts, dupattas, and many more.
