Drawing its origin from the Italian name Papalino, Poplin is known for its weave. The fabric is subtly woven with cotton and few poly yarns, giving it a smooth, shiny and sturdy finish. It weighs a little higher at around 200 grams per meter. The closely spaced transverse ribs are the reason behind its flat texture. The thickness of the cotton yarns makes this fabric all the more durable and comfortable in nature.
