Cupro fabric is a synthetic material made by recycling natural fibres such as cotton, rayon & viscose. Cupro material is extracted by recycling old cotton material & then extensively treated with chemicals making it a synthetic fabric. Just like other synthetic materials, cupro fabric is neither very breathable nor absorbent but it is durable.

Bemberg Cupro is made by refining the fibres even more to reveal silk-like shine on the fabric. Cupra fabric by yard is still a rarity as the impact of recycling & making cupro fabric is negative on the environment.
