What is Silver Knit Fabric?
- Sliver Knit Fabric is created using circular knitting machines, in which the face fibers simulating fur are bonded to the fabric by knitting sliver together with the foundation yarn that is used to create the fabric. This creates the appearance of fur.
- The piles on the surface of sliver knit textiles are often longer and thicker than the mounds on other types of pile jerseys.
- Printed sliver knit textiles are being used more and more as a type of fake fur that is becoming more common.
