Milan Fashion Week: The End

Milan Fashion Week: The End

Just recently, Milan hosted the Spring/Summer 2023 runway collections, providing a fertile environment in which to experiment with new aesthetic possibilities. The fashion show included a variety of styles that appeal to different tastes, including romantic, rebellious, and racy options for 2022's sensuous icons. But what about the other end of the scale? Modifications were made to classics like suits and formal jeans. What about the other hand? Consider the fringe embellishment at Bottega Veneta, the brilliant colors at Fendi, and the striking, spangly designs (twice!) at Gucci; there's no shortage of eye candy!

Why not take advantage of the opportunity to reflect on the long number of amazing looks seen in Milan while fashion writers are already in Paris awaiting the arrival of the next batch of collections? There is a plethora of thoughts and emotions to process. There were a number of notable guests at the show.

We have already first 3 days earlier with you so now let’s jump to the last 2 days of the Milan Fashion Week 2022.

Day 4

Dolce & Gabbana

Dolce-&-Gabbana_

Kim Kardashian, reality star and businesswoman, has been a fan of Dolce & Gabbana since she was a teenager in Los Angeles in the 1900s and early 2000s, eras that inspired the Spring/Summer 2023 womenswear collection shown in Milan on Saturday and dubbed "Ciao, Kim."

Black, white, and silver items adorned with lace, diamonds, and leopard print predominated in D&G's SS23 collection, which was designed in collaboration with Kim Kardashian. As the models went down the runway, a black and white video of Kim eating spaghetti was shown as a background. Kim walked the runway with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana just before the main show ended, wearing a black sequin gown.

Bottega Veneta

Gracefulness met utility on the runway designed by Italian architect Gaetano Pesce, Matthieu Blazy's second collection for Bottega Veneta was shown, including a surprise appearance by Kate Moss in a checkered shirt and pants.

According to Blazy, the concept is simple: the collection is about a comparison of dynamic characters invited to go around Gaetano Pesce's landscape. The goal was to appeal to a broad audience, not simply women or males.

Day 5

Giorgio Armani

Giorgio-Armani_

The introduction to Giorgio Armani's Spring/Summer 2023 collection, titled "Fil D'or" (golden thread), states, The essence is a certain purity and the brilliance of gold. The collection exemplifies Armani's unwavering command of ornamentation and airiness of form.

A star-studded front row, including actress Cate Blanchett, who later that night presented Mr. Armani with the Visionary Award at Camera Della Moda Italiana's Sustainable Fashion Awards, cheered as the show ended with the designer's typical dazzling flurry of evening attire (in glittering Giorgio Armani sequins of her own).

Ferrari

Ferrari

Rocco Iannone made his third performance for Ferrari at the prestigious Teatro Lirico, furthering the development of the relatively new fashion brand associated with the Italian automaker. Iannone has broken from the norm in previous seasons by exploring the human element in the legendary history– the visions, ambitions, and emotions that revolve around the Prancing Horse in his collection for Ferrari this year. The inspiration of the collection was assembled from California-centric pieces like silk Hawaiian shirts, colorful bleached denim, and shimmering moments of embellishment.
